Ilia Bailey and Aaron McNeal were married on July 7, 2012, at St. Catherine’s at Bell Gable in Fayetteville. Their reception was held at at The Inn at Carnal Hall on the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville campus. This was the smallest formal wedding that I have shot so far this year and it was truly a lot of fun. Ilia scheduled a generous amount of time between the ceremony and reception for portraits, which would have given us the opportunity to use the grounds of Carnal Hall as a backdrop for some really nice photos. But, a torrential downpour came on just as the bride and groom arrived at the hall and spoiled those plans. We had to settle for shooting portraits indoors. It all worked out thought and we still made some beautiful images, including some outdoor shots with Ilia at the end of the day when everything dried up. Enjoy the preview…
