I spent Saturday evening with Catey and Logan working on their engagement session in Bentonville and Rogers. I’ve known Logan for a few years now from working together at Hawgs Illustrated, so it’s a pleasure to get to be his and Catey’s photographer for their wedding next July in Fayetteville. We started the session at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, but were overrun by a hoard of Bentonville High School students and their parents that had descended upon the museum grounds for homecoming pictures. Then the sun disappeared and it became dark and gloomy, like a Thriller video with a high school homecoming cast. So, we got out of there and headed over to the Frisco Station Mall and a carnival that pops up every fall in the malls parking lot for no real reason. But it was perfect in our case.
