I spent a couple of hours on Sunday afternoon with 6-year-old Zachary shooting portraits at Bogle Park in Bentonville. It was a perfect afternoon for an outdoor shoot. Here are a few of my favorite’s from the session.

Here is a sneak preview gallery of Sarah and Jarod’s engagement session from Sunday at Sarah’s family farm in Lamar. We had originally planned to shoot this session in Bentonville/Bella Vista, but decided on Saturday that the farm would best reflect their personalities. Boy am I glad we did. The farm offered endless opportunities, with the only limiting factor being the light. It got cloudy on us just as the sun was getting low. We still made some really nice images, including several with Sarah’s sweet Airedale terrier, Tess. Enjoy the sneak preview. More to come….

Jamie Mikles and Jeff Tencleve were married yesterday, April 28, at Subiaco Abbey in Subiaco, Ark. I have been waiting for the past month to be able to share these photos from Jamie’s bridal session with the rest of the world. It was really hard to narrow the selection down to just few photos for this gallery. The Abbey at Subiaco is an amazing place for portrait sessions. The grounds offer a seemingly endless variety of locations and backdrops for photos. It’s the kind of place a photographer can easily get carried away at creatively. I pushed Jamie pretty hard throughout the shoot, but the results were worth it. She and her mother, Lisa, were beyond pleased when I delivered the photos. And now I can finally share them with everyone. Enjoy…

I spent yesterday afternoon with Amanda and Aaron shooting their engagement session at the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks and on Dickson Street in Fayetteville, Ark. I knew from our phone consultation a few weeks earlier that they were going to be very fun to work with. As it turns out “fun” was an understatement. Amanda sent me a text yesterday morning asking if it was ok to bring “a prop of some sort” for the shoot. Turns out she had balloons in mind, a lot of them. I’m not real big on using props, but the balloons worked and the color was a perfect reflection of who Amanda and Aaron are. Two VERY fun people. I’m so excited about the photos from this session. It was very difficult to narrow the edit down to just 10 photos. There are more, lots more. These few are a good mix to hold everyone over until I can get the others done. Enjoy….

Here is a sneak preview of a few of my instant favorites from Marissa and Jonah’s wedding on Friday at the Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs, Ark. There was only one family member present for the wedding, Sophie, Marissa’s 7-year-old yellow Labrador retriever. This was my first-ever elopement wedding. I was very honored to be a part of Marissa and Jonah’s special day. More photos to come later…

Arkansas baseball has been in full swing since mid-February. The Hogs kicked off their SEC schedule by sweeping Alabama at home over the weekend. Here are a few of my favorite photos from the season so far.
