About Marc

Marc F. Henning is an award-winning photojournalist based in Northwest Arkansas specializing in wedding, portrait, editorial, sports and corporate photography. He is dedicated to his craft and strives to satisfy the vision of his clients by producing high quality photographs and delivering them on deadline.

Marc’s career as a photojournalist began in 1996 after graduating from The Colorado Institute of Art in Denver. He worked at The Daily Times in Farmington, N.M. from 1996 to 2002. In the summer of 2002 he moved to Northwest Arkansas and took a job with The Morning News, now Northwest Arkansas Newspapers, where he continues to work today. Concurrently, in 2007 he was hired as the chief photographer for Hawgs Illustrated magazine where he concentrates on covering University of Arkansas athletics.

Over the course of his career Marc has garnered numerous awards including honors from the New Mexico Associated Press Managing Editors, New Mexico Press Association, Arkansas Associated Press Managing Editors, Arkansas Press Association, Arkansas Society of Professional Journalists, Inland Press Association, National Press Photographers Association, Arkansas Press Photographers Association, the Associated Press and Sportsshooter.com.

Marc is available for weddings, corporate projects and freelance editorial assignments throughout Northwest Arkansas and beyond.
